As a subconsultant to Nussbaumer & Clarke, Inc., JM Davidson Engineering, D.P.C. (JMD) provided permitting and construction phase support on the Gateway Park Improvement Project, which includes construction of additional seating areas, electrical improvements, and construction of a new multipurpose building to house a restroom, harbor master station, and storage at Gateway Park, located on Sweeney Street along the Erie Canal.
JMD was responsible for researching, initiating communication, preparing, and submitting all required permit / review applications, SEQR documentation, and acquiring all necessary approvals for the project from regulatory agencies, including but not limited to:
JMD prepared a Construction Requirement Analysis memorandum to document the permitting process and also assisted with the public information meeting, including developing the public presentation and meeting minutes.
In addition, JMD provided construction phase support, including submittal coordination, periodic site visits, attending progress meetings, and responding to requests for information and construction issues.
