Griswold Street Culvert Replacement

JM Davidson Engineering, D.P.C. (JMD) was subcontracted by Wendel to provide full time construction inspection for the replacement of an existing bridge with a 20′ x 8′ box culvert along Griswold Street in Royalton, New York.  The culvert and wingwalls were founded on flowable fill slabs due to the soft clay layers at the site.

JMD’s responsibilities included:

• Overseeing work by the contractor, Accadia Site Contracting, for compliance with the plans and specifications
• Measuring and maintaining field quantities
• Preparing daily field reports 
• Coordination with the designer, owner, and contractor
