JM Davidson Engineering, D.P.C. (JMD) was contracted by the NYS Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation (NYSOPRHP) to assist their in-house staff with the development of design documents for the construction of approximately 1.75 miles of a new multi-use trail in the Quaker Area of Allegany State Park. The trail will be utilized by pedestrians, bicyclists, and rollerbladers. The trail traverses various site conditions, including wooded areas and wetlands. There are four new pedestrian bridges that will be incorporated into the trail, as well as two new timber boardwalks.
